will hydrolic oil damage ashpalt if not cleaned up?

Answers:

From: Thomas Brown

definitely yes. hydraulic oil will damage the asphalt over time and the process of cleaning it is not easy either. some people had cleaned it with sand to suck up the oil from the asphalt but it just keeps on damaging the asphalt. the best way to repair is to torch the damage area and remove the asphalt. re apply a new asphalt layer and seal it.
