how long before you can drive on a new asphalt driveway after installation?

asphalt curing period is usually 24 to 48 hours before you can drive on your asphalt driveway. but are some factors you have to consider, areas not under direct sunlight may take longer to cure than areas under direct sunlight. also, avoid driving on the edges of the driveway for a week.
