i want to do a driveway that is 15 ft. wide by 40 ft. long. how do i figure how much gravel i need to put as a base and what kind and how do i figure how much asphalt i will need at 2" deep?

From: JT Johnson

for base preparation, you will need at least an inch thus multiply 15 by 40 by 0.083 toget the cu ft of gravel you need. for your 2inch asphalt, multiply 15 by 40 by 0.17 to get the cu ft of asphalt you need. hope this helps.
