why is the aggregate coming out of the asphalt on my street? | |
why is the aggregate coming out of my asphalt street? no other street in my neighborhood is doing this. plus there are many pot holes as well. the county took over responsibility for the street a few years ago from the developer and they say nothing is wrong with it. it feels and sounds like i am driving on a gravel road. it looks like it was never sealed or finished paved. i have to sweep all the loose gravel up at the end of my driveway to keep from dumping my motorcycle.

the reason might be that the asphalt is not sealed properly or the driveway is not properly maintained. you need to properly maintain your driveway. since it is still vulnerable to wear and tear. clean your driveway and reseal your driveway.
