new construction driveway with multiple depressions

we have a one year old driveway that has multiple depressions some as deep as 1 inch at the center point. this is new construction. should we insist the driveway be removed or can these areas be patched? from reading the other questions and answers it looks like this is a problem with underneath prep. we have a 200 ft driveway and drainage problems on our lot in general :( which may also be contributing? however, the depressed areas are sinking and getting larger, the largest is now 10 ft x 1 ft and 1 inch deep at its deepest point. we are quite concerned as you can tell. any info you can advise would be most appreciated. thanks much :)

it is definitely a prep problem thus there is no other course but to remove the asphalt and prepare the bed again. it doesn't mean that all of the asphalt shall be removed. only those affected by cutting the asphalt.
