I had a new asphalt driveway put in July,2006. I followed the paver's instructions implicity, which included hosing the driveway each evening after sundown to cool it, and staying off the driveway for an extended period of time (3 months to be exact!). We recently have had a few warm days (I live in CT), and my driveway has tire marks and the asphalt where the tire marks are is loose and coming up. What could be wrong and what must I do to have the problem corrected? Thank you.

it could be result of poor sealcoat or no sealcoat at all. the best you can do to at least correct it is to seal the asphalt before the gravel comes out.
