Sq footage divided by 80 = Tonage for a 2" lay. Seeing how you have 1.5" of 2" (which is .75 or 3/4 of 2) take your sum and then multiply by .75 and you will get your tonage. 8700 divided by 80 then multiplied by .75 = 82 tons
