What is the best way to get rid of gas/oil stains from asphalt?

My neighbor's car leaked gas and oil onto my parking spot made from asphalt. He has tried a couple of different products to clean it up with no luck. Can you please help me? It looks terrible. Thanks!

you can use water and soap to scrub off the stain. or you can use baking soda if water and soap fails you.
