machine used to lay 2 inch slope across 9 foot driveway?

I am having my asphalt driveway resurfaced. Is there a machine that may be used to lay asphalt to give a particular slope or grade to the asphalt from one side to the other? If so what is the machine called? The one asphalt contractor that came out said he would do it by eye. Thats what the last guy did and he did a terrible job of it. I would like a slope of 2 inches across my 9 foot wide driveway.

there is a machine it is called an asphalt paver, it can spread a lift of asphalt at any slope with in reason. 2" of slope on a 9' width is well within the capability of any paver
